Josie Gibson has admitted that she used to get embarrassed when she was pictured with her Big Brother boyfriend John James Parton, because she thought they looked ‘stupid’ together.,

The buxom blonde has struggled with her weight for years and since leaving the Big Brother house in 2010, has dropped from a size 18, to a 12 and now she’s back to a 16 again.

She put on two stone while appearing on the reality TV show – which aired on Channel 4 at the time – and confessed that she felt awful about herself when she won.

Josie told Now:

‘I never felt so fat in my life as when I came out of that house.’

‘John James is so slim and thin and I’m so big that I thought we looked stupid together.

‘Even he used to say we looked silly together. It made me feel horrible about myself.’

However before they split, Josie piled on even more weight, making her more self conscious and him more critical. She added:

‘But because we were in love, we spent a lot of time going out for big dinners, the weight was piling on.’

However Josie has hit bootcamp and hired a personal trainer and is now trying to cut down on her carbs and improve her lifestyle. She is determined to be more healthy and claims she is in a better space and feels more confident about herself these days.
