Big Brothers Sezer Yurtseven Arrested On Rape Charges
The Sun newspaper alleged today that Big Brother evictee Sezer Yurtseven was arrested last weekend on rape charges.
The BBC reported
A City of London police spokesman confirmed a 26-year old man was arrested following an “alleged incident of rape on Friday morning”.
The arrest relates to an incident said to have happened at the Great Eastern Hotel in east London, close to Liverpool Street station.
Londoner Mr Yurtseven was voted off the Channel 4 reality game show on 2 June.
A police spokesman added: “He has now been bailed to reappear in Bishopsgate police station on a date in August.”
The Sun newspaper said the alleged victim reported the attack within hours and was interviewed by specialist officers.
Mr Yurtseven, a stockbroker, denies the allegation and will answer bail on 17 August, the newspaper said.

I think it’s a bit unfair to assume sezer did the deed on the basis that u think he is forceful. Having seen some criminal stories, it is in fact the unobvious types that commit these kind of crimes.
If he commited the crime then by all means may justice prevail and he’ll serve the time but since we were not there please don’t lets judge based on a couple of weeks of watching someone on tv who is obviously playing up to the cameras!!!

I think people should let the courts decide this one. Both sides have an opportunity to state their case over the next few months and will provide the necessary evidence.
I was in the house with Sezer, but I dont know him. Frankly he was only ever forceful and aggressive with Shabbaz, but so were Lisa, Lea and Richard.
The less evidence/facts we have the more opinions we will make on either side. I dont think his appearance on Big Brother will be used in court or has been used to charge him. So we only know one fact and that is that he has been charged with a crime.
The details of the crime no-one yet knows (apart from those involved, police and solicitors), so it is wise to formulate your opinions after you have had those details.
No-one in the UK can got to court using what they have seen on the telly or stuff they have read in a newspaper as their only evidence. You wouldnt get as far as the court door.
The Crown Prosecution Service would either laugh you out or just throw you out.

I guess we will never really know what happened, only the parties involved know the truth, fact from fiction. What shocks me is how quick people are to judge individuals they have never met and know nothing about. I hope he didn’t do it, I quite liked him.

we have seen stuff on tv with imogen and sezer, they looked like a really good couple. when he walked in on the launch night didnt you hee all the girls drop dead silent. He doesnt need to rape people if he has girls going weal at the knees everytime they see him.

i really like sezer, but i realise how hard it must have been for this girl to come to the police. but i think he’s innocent until proven guilty. you have to give him the benefit of the doubt, because so far there’s no proof whatsoever that he did anything! but if it did happen, then i hope he does get a sentence for it, but you can’t say what a person is capable of from watching a few weeks of television. whilst he was on big brother though, i really don’t think he was aggressive or badly behaved! - i thought he was a very light-hearted, down-to-earth person and he didnt PUSH imogen into anything. he said on a number of occasions that he respected imogen and her decisions! so, dont go round saying things when you dont know the whole story!

Hey I’m Sezer friend’s sister. I’ve known Sezer ever since I was born and he’s always been really nice to me. I’ve seen his past girlsfriends and he’s never forced any of them to do anything that they’re not comfortable with.
When he was on Big Brother, he didn’t make Imogen do stuff that she didn’t want to do. I met her the other day and she even said that he didn’t make her do stuff she wasn’t comfortable with.
Sezer was himself on Big Brother and didn’t try to be somebody else. He was upfront and confident because that’s who he is.
So if anyone says that I’m judging him on what I saw on TV, I’m not. I know him for who he is and he DOESN’T rape people!

Destiny Jade you need to open your eyes to the world. You may be correct and Sezer is indeed innocent, but you can’t base that judgment 100% just because you met him for 5 minutes and he gave you a hug and a kiss and was really nice! Rapists don’t walk around with a swastika on their foreheads and a deveil’s trident. They don’t go around raping every single girl they see and being nasty misogynists 24/7. I don’t know how young/old you are but you need to get streetwise. Rapists only show their true evil colours once they think no one is looking and the opportunity strikes. It doesn’t matter how nice he was to you. None of us know anything about what happened between Sezer and that girl (not even Sezer’s best friend or sister of a friend!), so for us to comment is futile. Of course true friends have to show him loyalty. That is fair enough until they know otherwise, but you do not know him so you need to humble your opinion. Please wake up, for you own sake!!!! The majority of posters here in this forum seem to be quite young with little experience about life outside of their own little worlds. The case involving Sezer is currently in the legal system. He may be guilty or innocent - we don’t know at this point in time. What bothers me though are the posters who claim that since he is so ‘fit’ and ‘nice’ then he must be innocent. There have been rapists who have been described as being ‘fit’ and ‘nice’ who have committed crimes against women. There have also been family members and friends of rapists who believe that he would never commit such a horrible crime since he was so ‘nice’ and ‘charming’. In stating this I am not saying that Sezer is guilty (or innocent). I’m simply stating that people should wake up and stop believing that his perceived ‘fitness’ and charm make him innocent.

Hi everyone, I am TabbyKatt and I run the Unreality TV site. I just wanted to confirm that the Dawn posting on the site is 100% the real thing. She did appear on Big brother and just wants to open peoples eyes to injustices she felt took place.
As for Imogen and Nikki, I suspect that they are in fact not the real housemates, but I think you’d already guessed that!
However if either of them did a google search for their names (Nikki Grahame or Imogen Thomas) we would be on the first page for both. In fact we are the fourth and Fifth result for Nikki Grahame.
