Chanelle Hayes has revealed that she and former boyfriend Matthew Bates have split up over her recent pregnancy news.

Chanelle is three months pregnant with the pair’s baby, but says that Matthew broke up with her upon hearing the news.

The Big Brother star told Star magazine: “I was so nervous telling him. I thought he might come around to the idea and not freak out…but he is only young.

“He went silent, but what can you say? It changes your life forever. We both sat in shock, then we just went to bed!

“We didn’t really talk about it and I went home the next day. That was it.”

“I know it sounds strange but we haven’t talked really. I thought he needed time to think. I’ve kept him informed though, and let him know when I’m having scans.”
