Channel 4 have received more than 1000 complaints that housemate Emily Parr was wrongly evicted.
On the Channel 4 discussion forum one person said:
“Emily has been used as a scapegoat due to the reprimanding of C4 by Ofcom for Celebrity Big Brother.
“A formal warning would have been severe enough.
“Emily will have a very tough time now and be branded something that she may well not be by the media and viewers for one word said in a non-offensive context.”
Ofcom have also received 140 complaints over the screening of Emily’s racist comment in BB by C4 last night.
C4 chief executive Andy Duncan has defended broadcasting the word uncensored.
Speaking on Radio 4 today, he said: “It was important to show it, to let people see the whole context in which it was said, and to form their own opinion about what was said and how she said it.”
He added that the incident was “regrettable but dealt with swiftly and precisely.”

Emily by far has been the most intelligent housemate. channel4 has used her as a scape goat and publicity stunt. I am black and I know she is not racist! I loved her and without her bb8 is a total bore!!
Emily was a great houesmate who was bold and frank. She was a threat to hypocrite Ziggy who asked the girls to give him space (his own bed) and the next day he is in bed with Channelle. Emily should go back to the house. She is great. I am black but disgusted at all the fuss and what could possibly ruin a young girl’s carrier. What’s all the fuss. All of us have said words we should not say. There was nothing racist about that. Do not make people walk on egg shells just because of the backfire in the last bb. What punishement did Danirlle get. Do not use Emily as a scapegoat. It is not fair as she says. It is not fair. Its not reality tv if people have to edit what comes out of their mouth!! I am black but very angry. U are being racist to Em!
I am writing to say i am appauled with alex’s behaviour, i dont understand why she is allowed to talk to people the way she does and i think it’s clear that she is racist.
Please do something about her its terrible to watch.

rex is bullying rachel big time he shouldnt be getting away with it he is making them all feel on edge but he is bullying rachel more it is horrible to have to listen to him i used to like watching big brother but its cruel to see him do that and not be told
Something has to be done about rex’s behaviour towards rachael it is totally unacceptable. He should be definately told off for bullying her, she is a lovely sweet girl and he is getting away with treating her disrepectfully. He is a complete arse.
