Big Brother Confirmed For Two More Series

Following the success of Big Brother 2005, in which the final was watched by 7.8 million people, Channel 4 has signed an agreement with Endemol for two further series of the popular reality TV show.

Although much of the media have slated this year’s Big brother series as the worst yet, the show was still Channel 4s highest rated show of the year to date, with an estimated average of 6.7 million viewers, and at its peak Friday nights finale was watched by 43.4% of the total available TV audience.

Davina McCall has already signed up to present the next series and has said that she cannot imagine ever leaving the show unless the producers became too manipulative with the housemates.

The rumour mill has already begun about next years Big Brother which is said to make an early return next year. Watch this space!
