As if there haven’t been enough Big Brother ‘fix’ claims recently, BB has gone and shot himself in the foot by more or less overlooking the use of a racist term by housemate, Charley Uchea.

The 22-year-old used the word “nigga” twice in a night, telling housemates she uses the greeting “easy nigga” when she bumps into a Chelsea footballer on nights out.

A spokesperson for Channel 4 told the Sunday Mirror, “Charley used the N-word as a black woman to refer to another black person. We judged her use of the term different from Emily’s.

“But Big Brother called her to the Diary Room to remind her that this word could cause offence.”

The term used was exactly the same, Big Brother may have judged that it was used in a different context, but is that fair? It is beginning to look as if this whole thing is rigged to keep Charley in until the latest possible stage!
