On Friday night’s Jonathan Ross show, Davina McCall revealed that she gets lots of abuse from posh people about presenting Big Brother.

Jonathan had described watching the show as a ‘guilty pleasure’ and Davina went on to say:

“It is a bit of a guilty pleasure. I’m really in the firing line because whenever I go out, if I go out to a posh dinner party, I literally just get abuse from start to finish about presenting Big Brother.

“[They say,] ‘Surely you should be presenting something more high-brow or interesting?’ and if say ‘I really find it interesting, I’m sorry’, people are so snobby about it. It’s just an entertainment programme.”
