E4 Princess Nikki: Something’s stinking…
For Nikki’s final show (ever?), she had a special treat. According to Nikki, they were ‘big, butch and dikey’ To the rest of us, they were the Harlequins Women’s rugby team. And some of them seemed decidely unimpressed with Nikki.
As she sauntered out of the changing room, she looked nothing more than a little girl dressed up in her daddy’s clothes. However, images can be deceptive, and Nikki got off to a good start. She was hoisted for lineouts, and even tried her hand at tackling, but inevitably, something would get the better of her - and it just happened to be a bit of damp grass. From here, it was all downhill.
The coach had the wrong idea when it came to encouraging Nikki to Run the Gauntlet: he should have had her imagining that it was a crowd of paparazzi, clamouring for a photograph. Lets face it, thats the closest she’s likely to get to them from now on. And was it just me, or did the ladies seem to enjoy the prospect of dunking Nikki into a bin of icy cold water? Perhaps the crew put them wise to the dikey comment.
At least the water was clean, which is more than can be said for anything in the House of Horror where Nikki was despatched next. Extreme Cleaning is one thing - but cockroaches in just one drawer? A rotting, maggotty fish in another? I may be a tad cynical, but something was stinking, and it wasn’t just the foodstuff. ‘I’m not doing it’ she declared, and crisis talks with her father were swiftly arranged.
‘Dad would you do it?’ she asked. No, came back the reply.
‘Would you do it for a tv show you were being paid to do?’
Unfortunately for Nikki, the answer was yes.
After shrieking and crying her way through the kitchen drawers, an upsurge of sewage was to be Nikki’s final challenge. After weeks of training in all matters plop related, and despite looking like a reject from BioWars III, it was all too much for her. And so, the series limped to an end.
I doubt we’ll see a return, and fervently hope its the last we see of the Princess. Perhaps she’ll snag a desperate footballer, and turn into a WAG.
Lets leave the last word to Nikki: ‘I thought, when I got this seriesm that I would get nice jobs that would help me learn how to do a working day… … but its been ghastly’

Brighter Pictures (Endemol) fouled up big time by simply assigning the most awful jobs they could think of, for Nikki,
In a situation that she is more suited to, Nikki could be very entertaining, given half a chance.
Why didn’t they show the Roadie episode – I guess she was too good at it for this series?
I hope we do see Nikki Grahame again on our screens soon, there’s a lot more to her, than what’s been explored to date.

Have to agree with you Dave the best of Nikki wasn’t caught on Princess Nikki but guess that’s what the producers wanted. Any time Nikki seemed to be enjoying herself, serving in the chip shop, feeding the calves, crossing the lake, abseiling or chatting with her employers the cameras just stopped rolling.
Hope Nikki’s back on tv soon as she’s far to an intriguing character to be lost from the tv screen now.

Nikki is the worst person EVER!
So fake, she’s just got one of them faces you want to slap! I stopped watching Big Brother cos of her, I was so fed up of the way the others were walking on eggshells around her and treating her like she was about 12, I don’t know how her family and friends put up with her!

Why excactly should I “give her a break” … if something bad had happened to her and I was slagging her off then you could tell me to give her a break but it hasn’t and don’t give me all that “she’s had a hard life” stuff … so have a lot of other people!
I’m sorry … but i’m entitled to my opinion and I just think she’s spoiled and selfish, just because you like her, doesn’t mean everybody has to …

How relieved I am to see that there are a few discerning individuals out there who see Nikki for the shambolic mess of a person she really is. What an awful role model for young women! An anorexic ex call-girl with severe behavioural problems and a total lack of empathy who pulls out the victim card to excuse her infantile emotionally stunted tantrums at every opportunity. Very few sail through life untroubled, but to use this as an excuse for her appalling behaviour and egoccentricity is just the cowards way of avoiding taking any responsibility for her intolerable rudeness and selfishness. Her mother is an absolute fool for indulging Nikki and helping create and reinforce her monstrous characteristics. Nikki is nauseatingly vile and her show merely demonstrated this - clearly the joke was on her and not with her and she has done herself no favours by allowing her multiple deficiancies to be exploited in such an undignified manner. It was like watching a Victorian freak show which I could only suffer for two episodes.

Well done Fiona le Roux - summed up perfectly…. I just want to add that Nikki is a perfect example of so called ‘celebrity culture’ - It appears now that if u appear on a reality show you are suddenly a celebrity regardless of having any natuaral talent or ability…what exactly has Nikki done to warrant that status - absolutely nothing apart from have tantrums… scary & I hope soon that proper talented people are only classed as celebrities rather than someone who has a 15 minute fleeting tv exposure….bye bye Nikki

Well it looks like the anti Nikki’s are massively outnumbered so lets hope that our Nikki wins the TV award as she certainly deserves it She has come out a star in spite of the Princess Nikki producers apparently doing all they could to destroy her. A plucky young lady with a lot of endearing and entertaining qualities. She is a celeb and seen in almost every magazine in spite of the end of BB 7 and the P.Nikki show. She deserves her own show so that people can see the real Nikki and love her as we do.

Some of these comments have to be the most pychophantic I have ever read. This woman has done nothing to endear herself to anyone, unless of course you find childish, immature, tantrum throwing behaviour from an adult endearing.
I don’t bother watching things like NTA, because they mean very little. Nikki may think that lots of people voted for her, but think of the millions who didn’t bother to vote for her, or anyone else, because massaging someone’s ego, when they haven’t done a productive thing in their life is unnecessary.

Nikki made me laugh in BB and on Princess Nikki - it’s just some of the jobs which were given to her were often naff - so yes indefinable as it may be to some Nikki continues to endear herself to me. She has the ability to amuse me or maybe that should be she tickles my pickle. She makes me want to see more so a very productive achievement for anyone aiming for a media or tv career.
Although there’s no need of justification for liking Nikki it is very pleasing that she did win the tv contender NTA so I’m chuffed to bits for her that she did win. Hope this is one more achievement for Nikki as it can’t be seen as desisory to win any award which assists her rise to the top in whatever she chooses to do in the future.

I hope we get to see more of the real Nikki without the unfair exploitation of her tantrums!
I would like to see her do more of what she did on Celebrity Soup - def the best thing she’s done so far, she was brillant, genuinely funny and in full on adorable mode, better than i ever seen her before.
Can’t believe it wasn’t on a terrestial channel so that more people could see just what she can do when she’s given a chance at a role thats so right for her!

Ummm….correct me if I’m wrong…but isn’t Nikki’s reason for having her own tv show & her ‘appeal’ from BB, the fact that this grown lady throws really loud & immature childish tantrums & that was what the TV bigwigs assumed the public wanted…..why else would she have her own tv show? What else did she do?! am baffled by some of these comments about the rest of Nikki…which is just like every other joe public…. now if the girl has some real talent then I’m all for her having her own tv show….but all she is ‘famous’ for is her stroppy tantrums….honestly why can’t people see that????

Lets’ get some perspective here, winng an award over Tourettes Pete, Pointless Chantelle, Carol Thatcher and some fella from Corrie is hardly an achievement is it?
I never watched the awards, but I can imagine Granny Face practised her best “OH MY GOD I CAN’T BELIEVE I’VE WON” face in the mirror for weeks before the night, so she could get it just right, I bet she did the whole “it must be a mistake” thing aswell didn’t she?

Princess Nikki in my opinion exploited Nikki’s character. The film for two day and edit it down to a 30 minute show. They make sure she screams and protests and then they just show the negative parts. She has had so much positive feedback from people she has worked with but the producers refuse to show this side. The roadie episode was not show because she had a good time. No tantrum, no show - bad nikki.
She is not a spoilt brat. She is endearing and funny. I have never before been taken by a housemate as much as I have been by Nikki. She was truly shocked when she won her award and she did a lovely genuine speech. Its on youtube if you care to look.
All this nikki bashing is boring now. Move on because she has.

Nikki is fab. She has had so much c##p thrown at her recently but she has handled it so well. She is a real pro. The papers have been horrid to her and she seems to be damned if she does and damned if she does not.
Princess Nikki was good in parts but there was too many horrid jobs that I would not even do myself. Potentially it could have been really good if they had edited differently and showed the fun parts. There is probably shelf loads of material that we will never see full of positive funny scenes. Why did Endemol want to only show her tantrums. OK when she gets angry she does blow her top. This is because she cant keep her feelings inside. She cant pretend to be what she is not. She is incredible honest - probably too honest for her own good. She just blurts out what is on her mind and cant hold it in. A bit like Pete with his Tourettes. How many of us would love to go crazy or tell someone what we think. But we have the ability to stop but I think Nikki just cant for some reason. She does need to address these issues because it isn’t very social but I think she is learning fast.
But with that said well done again for winning and hope to see a lot more on you on the TV.

nikkis new reality show ‘princess nicki” which was supposed to be like the “sinple life” was such cringing tv and embarasing to watch,she was not herself and as usual trying to play up to the camaras just the same as on BB, shes ghastly and no boubt she wil never ever have her own show again and anyone who thought it was amusing or entertaining are extreamly simple minded stupid people who need to get a life i am the voice of the people the inteligent people and what i say is gospel so i hope she gets her just deserts on her way to try and be a celebrity but she dosent have the talent , as shes slightly retarded so i should not really be mean to people with disabilities .

When I watched BB I actually liked Imogen because she was calm and controlled. I thought Nikki was put in BB to run around topless and be ridiculed for it. Just the opposite she fell for an unlikely boy and showed a very fragile side. I also liked her quick wit and her banter with Richard was priceless.
When she came out of the house the first time she was swept away by all the attention and signed up to do this show probably not really knowing exactly what was entailed. With hindsight I think Nikki would have probably said a big fat ‘no’ but she was under contract and the rest is history. I wasn’t keen on the show because I could see she was being exploited but she knew she had to do what they said.
She really is good in front of the camera as we have seen in various TV appearances so please dont knock her until we have seen her full potential.

Channel 4 still won’t show the ROADIE ep of Princess Nikki (I e-mailed them to ask why and they just repeated the same “no plans to show at present schtick’”)

I think Nikki is going to have a very interesting new year. I cannot see her fading one bit and I am sure she will surprise many people.
The will always be people who will knock her, but she is not bothered one bit and she has been through very tough times recently and in the past and has proven what a tough cookie she really is. She has totally impressed me with her ’say very little’ approach to the media and this will stand her in good stead because it proves she is loyal and consistent with everything she says and does.

I do miss seeing Nikki on our tv.Could anyone tell me what is in the pipeline for Nikki for the year 2007?If anyone has a youtube recording of the weakest link where Nikki was in I would very much like to see it.I only buy magazines if there is an article of Nikki in it (not seen any lately.)I hope tv producers will take note as to how popular Nikki is & give her a decent tv show that will bring out her sense of humour.She is a natural born tv star.

The Nikki Weakest Link episode has not yet aired. It was filmed in November so people assumed it would air in December..but they do those shows months in advance of the airdate…it may be further delayed as Jade Goody was rumoured to be in the same episode and due to the current Jade controversy that could mean it will be delayed even further.
As far as future work….Nikki recently landed an 8 week advertising deal with Domino’s pizza. TV ads built around Nikki and the new “Meateor” pizza will air in the UK from February 22nd (mainly on sky, channel 4 and channel 5).

Great to see Nikki in the Domino’s ad today. She was right there in the ad break during the middle of Hollyoaks. Typical Nikki, she was fun and she was Fffabulous.

I personally loved Princess Nikki i think she was brilliant. Unfortunately i missed the first couple of episodes, i’d love there to be a repeat of the series or for the series to come out on DVD or something.

But from what i did see of the series was just fantastic, i haven’t laughed so much in a very long time, it was very good TV.
I would certainly vote for Nikki in any awards.
I hope she gets another TV show, i really do because i think she’s great.

Nikki has posted today on her my space that she will be appearing on The Weakest Link on Saturday 24th March.
It’s been a long awaited episode so it’ll be good to see Nikki again on tv again.

Because Endemol preferred making her into a howling caricature instead of just letting her be Nikki, pretty much all we got of her was a hollow shell of whom we could have seen. Sadly, that’s the image of her the public is likely to be left with.
Too bad, really. There’s so much more to the working world than dung and live seafood.
