I don't know about the whole thing. You'd think that if you were being tested for cancer, you'd stay put.

As for her diagnosis - I am very sorry that she has cervical cancer. I do, however, hope she uses this as an opportunity to educate others.

Over 90% of cases of cervical cancer are caused by the sexually transmitted infection, HPV (the human papilloma virus). Not everyone that has HPV will get cervical cancer, but nearly everyone who has cervical cancer has HPV. According to studies, over 85% of people who are sexually active have been exposed to HPV.

Once Jade has come through this ordeal (and since it's got a cure rate of 99% if caught early, I'm confident that she will), here's hoping that she uses her experience to educate women and young girls (and men, as well) about one form of cancer that is highly preventable through safer sex.
