John James Parton has admitted that he took an instant dislike to his fellow Big Brother housemate Rachael White, because she reminded him of girls that bullied him at school.

John argued with Rachael constantly during her short time in the house and then insulted her when she returned for a task during the final week.

‘I was really short at school. I didn’t grow until I was 17 or 18,’ John James told Now magazine.

‘I did cop shit off girls who’d take the piss out of me a bit. I wanted to work in the police force and at that time you had to be at least 5ft 8in and the girls used to say, you won’t get in because you won’t even reach 5ft 6in.

‘That’s how short I was!’

‘That’s why I had the problem with Rachael because she looked at people with the same look those girls used to give me,’ he admitted. ‘It was an instant dislike for me.’

John recently revealed that he did apologise to Rachael about his behaviour towards her but added that the footage had been edited to make him look worse than he was.
