Josie Gibson has opened up about the most tragic event of her life.

In an interview with OK! magazine, the Big Brother winner chatted about her dad’s death and revealed that she thinks he would have approved of new boyfriend John James.

She said: “It happened when I was little, about ten, or maybe younger. My dad was having an affair with my uncle’s missus, who he as kids with. From what I know, there was a fight.

“A knife was thrown and my dad got stabbed in the leg. It went through a main artery and he bled to death. [Josie takes a deep breath]. My uncle was done for manslaughter, it wasn’t murder.”

She added: “Tragic things happen in life. If my dad was here now, I think he would love John James.”

Josie previously revealed that her mum approves of the Australian hunk and is happy about their plans to get married.
