Marcus Bentley confirms that Big Brother 2012 will return in June – housemates chosen!

Marcus Bentley has confirmed that Big Brother will be back in just a few weeks time.

The 44 year old voice-over artist has narrated the reality TV show since it’s inception in the year 2000, revealed on his personal blog that the newest series of the Channel 5 programme will be broadcast in June, though an exact date has not yet been chosen.

He wrote:

‘Big Brother starts next month – the exact date is to be finalised.’

Last summer seemed LONG without out favourite fly on the wall series, so we and thousands of other fans will be delighted that the show is returning to it’s traditional summer slot.

Marcus clarified:

‘What I mean is, I know approximate dates and yes I’m contractually not allowed to divulge those dates. The exact date is not decided.’

When Big Brother first launched twelve years ago on Channel 4, it became a summer staple and was one of the only popular series to run through the summer months.

However, when the UK TV channel cancelled the show and it relocated to Channel 5 in 2011, it was pushed back to September and was preceded by a celebrity version at the end of August.

It seems that the housemates have already been chosen for the 2012 run, as this week BB presenter Jamie East and a number of the show’s press team were seen smuggling mysterious figures out of cars and into a studio, while their faces were covered with blankets.
