Member of The Ruskins rushes Ultimate Big Brother stage!
A member of London band, The Ruskins, has reportedly been arrested after jumping the security barrier and trying to make it onto the Big brother stage last night.
As Vanessa Feltz conducted her exit interview with Davina McCall, a man (later revealed as singer Eamon Sukkar) tried to make it up beside her, before being wrestled to the ground by security guards.
You can see the video of the incident here.
The stage invasion turned out to be a planned one. A message went out on the bands Twitter and Facebook pages on Monday saying:
‘Guess who’s going to bandjack Big Brother this Wednesday??‘
Last night they wrote:
Don’t think Big Brother will be letting us back in anytime soon….Hope Vanessa liked my tshirt
Been practising that flip for weeks! Watch the Big Brother Bandjack here… WE LOVE VANESSA
The boys obviously took inspiration from Calvin Harris, who invaded an X Factor performance by John and Edward Grimes last year. He tipped off his Twitter followers before and and many tuned in to see him dancing onstage with a pineapple on his head!
Channel 4 has not yet commented on the incident.

I read on Twitter the next morning that the Ruskins were responsible.
I know the band personally and it’s just a bit of harmless fun. I can see it both ways, and was worried people would think badly of them going about getting attention this way, but ultimately they are a talented band and people should check them out!
When it’s horrendously difficult for an unsigned band to get any attention because most people are pre-occupied with this sort of entertainment I don’t think one could blame a band for trying to hijack it in some way. I checked them out anyway, a cracking band!
