Bookmakers in the UK have seen a massive increase in bets on Welsh lifeguard Glyn Wise to win the current series of Big Brother, so much so that Paddy Power have now slashed their odds, and Glyn is their second favourite to win the show.

Glyn has really come out of his shell over the last few weeks, and frequent visits to the Diary room have shown us a funny side to Glyn that wasn’t first apparent.

“For three weeks it has all been about Pete, but we are now seeing a nationwide gamble on Glyn to win. He has been steadly backed from 8/1 to 2/1 and if this continues he could easily become the favourite in the next few days.” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams
