Channel 5 announced today Rylan Clark and AJ Odudu will be joining the presenting team for Big Brother’s Bit On The Side. Emma Willis will continue presenting Bit On The Side alongside her new role as host of Big Brother.
Veteran TV presenter Davina McCall has of course been on our screens for just over 20 years, having begun her career in telly on MTV in 1992…
So inevitably, there have been some shows that she’s presented that she’s less than proud of, but equally, many that she is, in her own words, “fiercely proud of.”
Davina – who became a household name when she fronted Big Brother on Channel 4 from 2000 to its final outing on C4 in 2010 – made the comments about her career during an interview with Saturday Magazine. Read more & comment »
Fans of Big Brother star Josie Gibson may recall that we recently reported that her grandmother Diane Gibson had been arrested having been “on the run” for12 years.
She was wanted by police for questioning over offences that allegedly related to drugs charges, and this week, 72 year old Diane appeared at Bristol Crown Court to answer the charges. However, the case was adjourned at the request of Gibson’s barrister Giles Nelson in order to allow medical reports to be compiled.
Of his client, Nelson told Judge Michael Longman, “She is using a wheelchair because of heart problems and blood pressure which has affected her mobility.” Read more & comment »
Bosses of Channel 5′s hit reality TV show Big Brother, have apparently not yet decided whether or not the shows’s live feed will make a comeback when the show returns to our screens this summer.
After acquiring the show back in 2011, Channel 5 decided to ditch the usual 24/7 live stream from the house when it revamped the show. However the move resulted in backlash from fans.
Josie Gibson has revealed that she hasn’t had sex in four months and she isn’t even missing it!
The former Big Brother winner has had a tumultuous love life over the past few years to say the least but it looked like everything was going well for her, when she became engaged to latest love Luke Sanwo.
The new series of Big Brother will have less wannabes, less fame seeking models, less crazy celebrities in the making and more normal, older people it has been reported.
Staff on the show have been auditioning hopefuls since early this year and when the 2013 run of the reality TV show kicks off in June fans can apparently expect a back to basics approach.
Rylan Clark has refused to confirm rumours that he has signed up as the newest member of the Big Brother team.
It was reported this morning that the flamboyant singer, who shot to fame when he made it all the way to the X Factor semi finals last year, had been hired to replace Emma Willis on BB spin off show, Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, after she was moved to the main stage.
Fans of former X Factor finalist Rylan Clark will of course know that he won this year’s series of Celebrity Big Brother, and has – since his controversial time on X Factor – become TV hot property as various channels have been vying to sign him up…
And for weeks now, it’s been rumoured that he’s in line to replace singer Olly Murs on Xtra Factor and Emma Willis – who has of course replaced Brian Dowling as host on Big Brother – on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
However, it’s been revealed today that Rylan WILL host BBBOTS on Channel 5, but that means he won’t be starring on Xtra Factor alongside Caroline Flack. Read more & comment »
It’s been revealed today that the £1million that tragic Big Brother star Jade Goody left in trust for her sons Bobby and Jack has been claimed by the taxman, leaving the boys with nothing.
Jade had left the money for the boys to ensure that they had a private education, however, the Inland Revenue “hammered her estate with a crippling bill” which trustees have branded as “heartless”. Read more & comment »
It’s been reported today that Big Brother star Josie Gibson’s grandmother – who was once dubbed “Britain’s most wanted granny” – Diane Gibson has been arrested after a 12 year-long hunt for her.
Diane, who’s 72, allegedly went on the run in 2000 after being convicted of drugs charges. She disappeared after she was found guilty of possessing with intent to supply 3kg of cocaine that was worth £240,000. Read more & comment »
