Stephanie McMichael: Reality TV Is All About The Fame!

Former Big Brother housemate Stephanie McMichael has blasted other reality TV contestants who claim that they enter the shows for the experience rather than for the fame.
Steph was the first housemate to be evicted on last years series but has went on to make quite a large sun from ensuing magazine deals etc.
Speaking to Take 5 magazine, McMichael explained: “I can’t stand people who go on BB and say: ‘It’s not about the fame’. It is! If you don’t want to be famous, don’t go on reality TV.
“It isn’t about the experience. Who would choose to live in a house with a load of mad strangers? No one is just ‘themselves’ either. You have to exaggerate your personality to get on BB. But you can’t fake it either.”
On her own earnings, she revealed: “I made around £100,000 from interviews afterwards. I have no problem posing in my undies, although I’d never go topless.”

I don’t agree with that statement. The first 3 or 4 Big Brothers they were not in it for the fame they were there to have fun and the housemates were more genuine which is why they were the most successful and liked by Big Brother fans. More recently I agree the housemates go on their to be famous and are fake which is why the series have become boring and people have lost interest. They need to be more selective in their choice of housemates and ditch the fame wannabees who are all fake and selfish.
hang on!
shes blasting reality stars
and yet she ausitions 4 x factor herself ???
she is hardly blasting them – she is one herself! I think she is just being honest!
