BACKGROUND :
John and Sallie are a family duo who have been singing together for 2 and a half years. John is part of a male voice choir, and Sallie has performed with the choir on a couple of occasions. John was formerly a singer for 30 years and was initially spotted performing in the local clubs in Sheffield.
He performed all over the country and even worked for 2 summer seasons in Blackpool. He first started performing when he was at school, and was part of a school choir that performed in a schools competition.
John was a performer for 56 years and decided to take a break to rest his voice. However after a couple of years not performing he felt that something was missing from his life and so he decided to join a choir. He has been part of 3 choirs, and has a tenor voice. The choir has performed in churches, halls and Old people’s homes. Sallie enjoys drama and loves being on the stage performing.
Sallie and her mum entered John and Sallie without him knowing. And John and his family credit Britain’s Got Talent with helping him cope with his bereavement when his wife Joan passed away.

This sums up the word “wrong”. It’s stomach turning and creepy! I can’t imagine EVER wanting to sing love songs with my grandfather, it should be against the law!

Kara, you need to grow up – if there were more people like that grandfather and granddaughter the country would not be in the state it is in. No doubt you are the sort of person who would not allow their child to be alone with their dad etc or something stupid like that- I think there is obviously some problem with you – this granddad and granddchild love each other dearly, its perfectly natural, you have obviously had an upbrining that includes no love at all.
Two things that I hope happen –
1. 2 Grand win Britain’s Got Talent.
2. Louise becomes Prime Minister!

Sallie seems really adorable. I’m amazed that she’s only 12 – I would have guessed she’s around 16!
These two were my favorite act EVER on any talent show. I LOVED them.
Kara you have this wrong, i voted for them the whole way, john is very good at singing and sallie takes my breath away. i really like her. i think the public chose this wrong, they should of got to the final 3. there second for me in bgt, 1st being george sampson

Lol Lol thanks Steve that really made my Monday morning, me for PM – god I could make a few changes for the better. Such a shame 2 Grand didnt win. Even though I didnt seem them Saturday, when I saw a clip of them I still had tears in my eyes. If I was the Queen I would have been on that phone asking for them to perform at the Royal Variety anyway.
i think 2 grand were ace it makes a change for doncaster to be on the tele for a good reason. go john and sallie would love to hear move from u
l loved 2 grand they are really good singers and l think they should carry on singing l wish you would of one but you should keep going for it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

l was really sad they didnt win but l think 2 grand are really good singers and should carry on and l will be at the britans got talent tour so l cant wait to see them at it.

2 GRAND ARE FANTASTIC TIMES 3!!!!!!!! i love somewhere out there its the best song i know, i loved to vote for them sally is just really fantastic. they are the best if they won i would be over the moon i really hoped they would win but i am very sure that they will win something no doubt about it!!!!!!!!!!! p.s they really are brilliant

I think the way John and Sallie sing is really simple, but yet very powerful, moving, and touches everyone’s heart. They are absolutely terrific. I hope they would release an album at some point, then I will immediately buy it!

I love Johns warbling style of singing, reminds me a club singer.
Sallie is too good to sing with the John but she could not refuse him what with just losing his dear wife and all. It might have sent him over the edge.

I think that Too (Two?)Grand should make a comeback in next years competition if John is still alive.
I for one would definately vote for them.All of us real genuine fans could start up a campaign now to drum up support. It would be a whitewash…
