Alesha Dixon admits she might not be back for Britain’s Got Talent 2013

Alesha Dixon may not be back for next year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent she has revealed.

The former Strictly Come Dancing judge was publicly offered a spot on the panel again next year by Simon Cowell, on the last night of the 2012 series. In an interview with the Sun this week she confirmed that show bosses want her back but admitted that she isn’t yet sure if she wants to commit so much time to the ITV show.

She explained:

“They have said they’d like me back but until I sign on that dotted line you just don’t know.”

It had been rumoured that Alesha was going to be offered a spot on the X Factor panel, however she claims there is no truth in that rumour.

She has plenty of judging experience and came from a girl group, so knows her stuff when it comes to music, but Dixon isn’t holding out any hope of being offered Kelly Rowland’s old job.

She added:

“They have not asked me. I am not waiting for that phone call.”

The X Factor auditions move to Manchester today, with a new guest judge joining Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos. In the fourth seat will be former Spice Girl and current X Factor Australia judge Mel B.
