Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has insisted that Cheryl Cole has done the right thing by leaving her cheating husband Ashley.

Although Amanda insists that everyone deserves a second chance (well she would say that wouldn’t she, after all she’s hardly whiter than white!), she says that you should never let someone make a fool out of you time and time again.

Holden told The Mirror:

“Cheryl made the right decision. Everyone deserves a second chance but she has given Ashley that and she deserves so much better.

“She’s a strong woman and has plenty of caring, supportive people around her. She’ll get through it as everyone does… I’m just glad I’m not married to a footballer!”

“I’d forgive an affair,” she added, “but not if it happened time and time again. It’s too humiliating. I think everyone deserves a second chance but it’s dependent on the relationship between husband and wife.”
