Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has admitted that she’d be shocked if she found out that Simon Cowell was to be a daddy.

The actress says that she was shocked when Simon admitted to Piers Morgan that he was considering having a family with fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy. She told The Mirror:

“I was shocked when Piers called me and said Simon had mentioned that he needed to have ‘little Simons’ running about,” says Amanda.

“I would be gobsmacked if he had children, although less surprised if he got married. But he would be a great dad – he is so good with children – and he’d definitely make a good husband.”

“If he got married it would be because he absolutely thought that was the right thing for him.

“He has never been pushed into anything in his life and, at 50, I think that’s the perfect age for a man to marry.”
