Amanda Holden may not return to Britain’s Got Talent 2011
Amanda Holden has embarked on a face saving exercise and claimed that she may not have time to return to Britain’s Got Talent.
Just days after Simon claimed that no-ones job is safe and hinted that he may replace the current judges on both BGT and The X Factor, Holden has claimed that she may be too busy for the ITV show.
“I don’t know if I’ll be back,” Holden told Metro. “I would like to but I’m happy either way.
“For me it comes down to the scheduling of the stuff I have planned and if that fits in with the show then great. But if not, I won’t be able to do it.”
It looks unlikely that Piers will sit on the BGT panel next year, as he has just been appointed as CNN’s replacement for chat show host Larry King. Simon Cowell has already hinted that he will at least miss the auditions for the show, which leaves the judging table looking pretty bare.
On This Morning today, Paul O’Grady admitted that he once turned down a role on the show but said that he may be interested in joining it next year, if he was asked.
