Amanda Holden to land own ITV variety show
Amanda Holden has ITV bosses running scared about her new American TV deal and in a desperate bid to keep her on the channel, bosses have offered the star her own primetime TV show.
Holden will fly out to the states just three weeks after Britain’s Got Talent wraps and will be the main female anchor on the CBS’s flagship breakfast programme ‘The Early Show.’ In a bid to ensure that she returns to the UK, ITV have reportedly offered her a weekend variety show.
A source told The Mirror: “Amanda loves America, and when ITV executives heard about the new contract with US network CBS they panicked.”
The source added that boss Peter Fincham “reassured her she had a bright future at ITV and would get her own show in return for her loyalty”.
