Amanda Holden Wants A Non Singer To Win Britain’s Got Talent 2008

Britain’s Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden, has revealed that she would love a non singing act to win the show this year.

“I have to say that two of the strongest acts this year are singers - and child singers at that - but I’d love a non-singer to win the show,” Amanda told the Daily Star. “Paul Potts set the bar last year but I’d like the show to prove that it can deliver a great British variety act.”

Amanda added that she intends to stay on the show for as long as it runs…..

“I want to be doing this show when I’m 90 and you have to wheel me on stage in a wheelchair,” she explained. “And if I’m still doing the show by 90 years old then I’m guessing I’ll have to start knocking on Sharon Osbourne’s plastic surgeon’s door!”

    I couldnt agree more.
X Factor, Pop Idol, American Idol, Fame Academy… all these other SINGER shows are always on TV, and when BGT comes around, for variety acts, another singer wins!! This year a really unique act should win, it would make the show so much better (: [not that its not amazing now]
