Annoying Piers Morgan ruins David Walliams Olympic fun by taking offence on Russell Brand’s behalf!
Even thinking about Piers Morgan is enough to ruin anybody’s fun, so imagine what it’s like to be David Walliams who was bombarded by his tweets this week.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge was keeping all his followers entertained last night by publishing funny remarks all through the Olympics closing ceremony (check them out, they’re really amusing). One of them was an obviously sarcastic and he joked:
“I much prefer Russell Brand’s version of ‘I Am the Walrus’ to the Beatles.”
Unsurprisingly Piers Morgan misunderstood the sarcasm and retweeted David saying:
“Don’t be utterly ridiculous!”
David snapped back:
“It is a joke. Just like you are.”
Showing he still cannot take a joke a furious Piers replied:
“Tweet canned laughter next time, make it more obvious, like your TV ‘jokes’”
It seems like like Piers has lost his sense of humour somewhere, how sad.
David was name checked by Mo Farah yesterday, as one of the creators of “The Mo”, his signature dance move upon winning a race. It turns out that he is a man of many talents!
