BGT 2010: Janey Cutler wows judges! (VIDEO)

It was a heartwarming moment and a nice way to kick off our Saturday night, watching 80 year old Janey Cutler singing her heart out on Britain’s Got Talent.

Before singing her rendition of French legend Edith Piaf’s Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien, Janey told Ant & Dec:

“I’m here to sing.”

“I like singing, my friends say go in for it, better late than never!”

“I’ve had a great life, 7 kids, hard times, happy times, no regrets”

Doing it for Glasgow the mum of 7, grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 4 then launched into her song, much to the amazement of Cowell and co. She sang with surprising strength and excellent tuning and though we don’t think she quite reched the heady heights of Susan Boyle’s first audition, she certainly gave us yet another memorable BGT moment!
