BGT 2010: Twist and Pulse the funniest act yet? (VIDEO)
Twist and Pulse may just be one of the funniest acts to have hit the Britain’s Got Talent stage this year and judging by the standing ovation they got from the audience on tonight’s show, we would have to guess that the crowd agreed.
Made up of best friends Ashley and Glen, the nervous dance duo, Twist And Pulse didn’t look very exciting on paper, or even on screen at first. However their routine contained a brilliant mix of comedy and street dance that even worked in a bit of Cheeky Girls, one of Cowell’s less than stellar career achievements! They turned out to be our favourite act of the night!
Judges Comments:
Piers – I thought that was terrific. That is one of the most exciting, original routines we’ve seen.
Amanda – I don’t know what that kind of style is but you danced to every section of the music and you told a story. What is it?
Ashley – We call it ‘streetomedy’. It’s street and comedy together.
Amanda – I think you just showed us a glimpse of the future.
Simon – For me the only thing that works is whether it becomes entertaining for the person watching it. I think there’s still a lot of room for improvement.’
