BGT canine star, Pudsey has “loads of girlfriends, and boyfriends”

The owner of Britain’s Got Talent star dog, Pudsey, has revealed her pet’s bi-sexual tendencies, according to the Mirror newspaper.

Not only that, but owner Ashleigh has admitted that the dog, a border collie/Chinese crested powder puff cross, is camp “just like David Walliams” and has diva style tantrums whenever he see’s Ashleigh with another animal.

Pudsey is currently the bookies’ favourite to win this years Britain’s Got Talent, after he impressed Simon Cowell with his amazing performance in Sunday’s  semi final, winning over the heart of the talent show guru in the process.

However, the admiration is unlikely to stretch both ways, with Ashleigh Butler admitting that Pudsey is a bit of a tart when it comes to people, never favouring any one in particular.  She joked:“Pudsey probably has loads of girlfriends, and boyfriends, he’s really not fussed.

“He’s very camp, he’s such a wimp. I think David Walliams and Pudsey would get on absolutely brilliantly.”

However, she went on to say that she hoped Simon’s new soft spot for the pet would stand them in good steed, commenting:“I think Simon is in love with Pudsey. We might have a little bit of an advantage, but Pudsey has his own mind.

“If he doesn’t want to do it he can easily just walk off stage.

“But Pudsey’s loving it – we’re both really enjoying the experience.

“The bigger the audience, the better he performs. I’ve just got to make sure he is always really happy.”

However, she did issue a not-for-sale warning to Cowell over her pet, saying: “I know Simon loves him, but he’s definitely not for sale.”

Speaking of Pudsey’s overprotective and jealous nature, Butler said:  “When my sister got a new dog I wasn’t even allowed to say hello to him because he’d get really, really jealous.”

Student Ashleigh, who has said that she would use some of the £500,000 prize to set up a business providing animals for films and make Pudsey a star like Uggie, the Jack Russell terrier from The Artist, has confirmed that the pair are rehearsing a completely new routine for the live final, to be held on Saturday evening, but has admitted that Pudsey is finding all the performing quite tiring, saying:“Straight after Sunday’s show he fell asleep in the middle of an interview with Ant and Dec.”

Pudsey and Ashleigh will be joined by in the final by pop opera duo Jonathan and Charlotte and dancers Kai and Natalia, who were voted through last night.
