Bookmakers tip Britain’s Got Talent to win ratings war but think The Voice UK will attract more than 10 million viewers

The Voice UK is set to start on the 24th March, the same date that Britain’s Got Talent kicks off and William Hill think that the ITV show will just sneak it in the ratings war, offering 4/7 that BGT tops The Voice on opening night (5/4 vice versa).

Hills are also offering 3/1 that The Voice delivers 10 million plus viewers on the first night. Jessie J is the 13/8 favourite to be the winning manager, while is 5/2. Music legend, Tom Jones is 11/4 with Danny O’Donoghue 4/1.

“The odds suggest that BGT will pip The Voice to the finish line, but should enough people be intrigued by the format, The Voice could get over 10 million,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
