Britain’s Got Talent 2009: Simon Feels Bad About Sacking Kelly Brook
Simon Cowell has reportedly told his publicist, Max Clifford that he feels really bad about sacking Kelly Brook from her position of judge on this years Britain’s Got Talent.
Kelly was only signed for the new series last week and a mere six days into filming was let go from the show.
Simon is said to be assuring the UK press that Kelly was not bad or wooden or useless, but that he had to let her go as it became clear that three judges were better than four.
“I had a long conversation with Simon after he flew back from LA,” What’s On TV quote Clifford as saying. “I feel for her and so does he. It must be very upsetting (for her), and that’s why he was very very keen to let everybody know that Kelly did everything that was asked but it was one judge too many for that format.”
“It was an experiment and Simon just feels very bad because it’s been made to seem as if she failed and she didn’t fail,” he added.
“He said to me this morning: ‘She was good, Max, she was genuinely good’. Simon’s always looking for new shows, always thinking about possibly doing this, possibly doing that and Kelly is definitely someone he would want to work with again provided there’s the right format.”

Shame he did not think of that first instead of humiliating her
and probably damaging her career prospects. I know he has issued
statements saying it was not her she did the job well but it is
still damaging for her. He now needs to employ her to do something
else to show people he respects her work. Personally I do not find
Kelly particularly talented but she still does not deserve this, was
Simon blinded by a pretty face?

I was thinking exactly the same thing Trudy, sort of the same way he did when he fired Brian Friedman, but kept him around as choreographer. Having said that, he’s insulted Friedman’s over-the-top routines enough to have probably damaged his reputation as well!

I think its hilarious shes been sacked, the girl is well known as a complete failure who clearly has no talent.
The only reason why shes popular is because of lads mags and her so called “perfect body” even though shes a size 6,the only thing thats shapely about her body is her boobs other than that shes underweight.
She sees herself as up there which clearly shows when the rest of us think of her as an nonentity.

get a life everybody. kelly has no talent at all. the only thing she has going for her are her,silicone implanted tits. i think simon on the other hand can spot talent a mile away. sorry trudy, but she clearly had none of it…..ha..ha..ha..
