Britain’s Got Talent 2010: AKA dancers impress with Tina Turner routine
As the Britain’s Got Talent auditions move to Newcastle on tomorrow night’s show, first up to impress the Judges are girl dance group AKA
The girls tell Ant & Dec:
“Our dance group ranges in age, I’m the youngest at 10yrs old and we go up to 20yrs old”
“It’s great to make friends with people that are all different ages, we’re like a big family together, we practice 3 times a week together but the past few weeks nearly every night as we want to be good for Simon”
Ant & Dec wish them well and to make Newcastle proud as the first group on stage in Newcastle.
“Make us proud” says Ant
“We want to show the judges that the North-East has talent” says AKA
They introduce themselves and Simon can’t understand the accent and the name of the group, they tell Simon they think they can win BGT because they’re unique and a crowd pleaser
They start to dance to a Tina Turner melody with passion and gusto – can they win everyone over as the first act up in Newcastle? Tune in tomorrow night to find out!
