Britain’s Got Talent 2010: Melissa Serpico could be dead in ten years
Britain’s Got Talent auditionee Melissa Serpico has admitted that she may be dead in a decade, because of a mystery illness that is ravaging her body.
Melissa failed to impress the judges when she took to the BGT stage earlier this year and her guitar playing dog Laika, refused to do anything of the kind. She later revealed that judge Simon Cowell was so smitten by Laika, that she offered him ownership of the beloved pooch.
Today, The Sun is reporting that Melissa as been attending specialists because of autonomic dysfunction, which leaves her hands and face feeling frozen.
Melissa said:
“It feels like my body doesn’t know what to do any more. I’m still seeing specialists now as it’s not been fully diagnosed.
“I’m still waiting for some blood tests, which is worrying.
“The worst case scenario is that I could have the onset of something called multiple system atrophy, MSA.
“If that’s the case then I would only have about ten years left.”
She added: “If it is bad news then I want to do as much as I can before I become disabled.
“I know they didn’t put me through but the show has done wonders for me and Laika, who is now the coolest dog in the area.”
