Britain’s Got Talent 2010: The Arrangement could help the Royals get into R&B

Britain’s Got Talent hopefuls The Arrangement have revealed that if they won the show, they think they could help the Royal family appreciate R&B music.

The classical group impressed Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan on a recent audition show with their mash up of modern dance tunes (video here). Amanda Holden gushed “it was just genius”, Piers Morgan called it “a brilliant idea, brilliantly executed”. However, the voice of reason, Mr Cowell: added “It was like you were performing at the school ball and somebody spiked your drinks”.

The group will find out tomorrow whether they have made the live shows and if they get as far as winning, they will land a spot on the Royal Variety Show. Frontman Jono Miles revealed that if that happened, they could convince the Royal family to love their style of music.

He told The Sun:

“Maybe we could help the Royal Family get into R&B if we gave them the right platform.

“Perhaps the Queen could get ‘low’ one day.

“We can provide weird stepping stones between genres.

“People find it funny and that’s because we are a bit posh and look quite strange as we try to do this cool gangster rap.”
