Simon Cowell can spot talent when he sees it and we have to wonder if he knew that Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Tia Brodie was more than just a variety act?

On tonight’s audition show, 33 year old Tia striped to the waist before starting to run naked flames along her almost equally naked body. In an interview with some journalists she has since admitted that her TV act was mild compared to some of the hardcore porn she has previously filmed.

She told The News Of The World:

“There was a time when I did the more hardcore stuff.”

“The money was better but I stopped getting a lot of work when I decided I no longer wanted to open my legs for the cameras. I used to do a lot of that stuff.”

One of her old housemates, Sophie Dee, told the newspaper: “When I first came over she was only doing girl-on-girl films. There wasn’t much girl/girl work and I persuaded her to do straight stuff to make the trip worthwhile.

“She tried out the guys, but only did three things, one sex act film and two with boys full on, then she went home.

“I think she did the porn to feel good about herself, not for the money, because she held out on boys for so long.

“She definitely enjoyed sleeping with girls. It was a big experiment for her.”

But worry not, porn was never her real job…..no Tia makes most of her money from her career as a stripper in seedy nightclubs.

She said: “Being in porn was never a full-time job. My career was really an adult entertainer in the dance scene.

Tia even missed her big TV debut, because she was stripping in the Kent Arms in Ashford, Kent on Saturday night. But she still hopes to win the show and hopes that her appearance will help her move to a different career.

Tia said: “I knew these sort of stories that would come out but I hope they won’t affect my hopes of winning. I’d like people to look at my act as it is now, not what I’ve done in the past.”

“I’ve been stripping for years but now I want to become a burlesque star. It’s about doing something different, progressing in my career.”
