Britain’s Got Talent 2010: Tonight’s first semi final lineup revealed

The first of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent semi finals will air on ITV1 tonight and we have the full lineup for you below. It’s going to be a good one to start the week by the looks of it and some of our favourite acts will be competing for a place in Saturday night’s final. But which two acts will pass tonight’s stage and make it onto Saturday’s show? We remind you who they all are below and make our predictions on tonight’s result.

Spellbound: Spelbound are a mixed group of acrobatic gymnastics. After their amazing audition routine, Simon Cowell was astounded and said: “I have never seen anything like that in my life. I thought that once again we were going to get some really boring gymnastics display but that was very clever, really, really smart.”

Josh Barry: Josh sang ‘My Girl’ for his BGT audition. Simon Cowell said: You’ve got a lot of things going your way – you’re a good looking guy, you’ve got charisma, and people like you.”

Sean Sheehan: The wood chopper…need we say more?

Stevie ‘The Regurgitator’ Starr: Stevie swallows coins, balls…all manner of things and then regurgitates them in order. After his original BGT audition Piers Morgan said: “It was pretty compelling to watch, pretty weird, and it made me gag a few times.”

Olivia Archbold: 14 year old Olivia sang ‘In The Arms Of The Angel’ for her audition piece. She moved many of the audience to tears and prompted Simon Cowell to gush: “You sang that so well and made it your version of the song, I’m so so impressed with you Olivia, I can’t begin to tell you.”

Threebee: Threebee are a Bollywood dance company from London. After their BGT audition Piers Morgan said: “Great energy and brilliant performance.”

Tobias Mead : Tobias did the cool back to front dance on the first BGT audition show of 2010. After his performance, Simon Cowell said: “Every so often, someone comes along who is just brilliant and I think we’ll remember you, you’re super, super talented.”

Kevin Cruise: Kevin aka Martin Cobble failed to impress Simon Cowell with his cruise ship act and his wheel along ‘Fishy Rose’ ship. After his all singing, all dancing performance Cowell lamented: “This is why I would never go on one of those boats.” However Amanda Holden loved him and gushed: “Kevin, I think if you got through to the final, I don’t know if we’d need any more acts, loved you.”

We think that Spellbound will definitely be put through to Saturday night’s show but the second spot could go to one of a few acts. Frontrunners for us would be Tobias Mead, Olivia Archbold or Josh Barry. We’d love to know who you are backing….leave your comments below!
