Britain’s Got Talent 2011: Jackie Evancho performed Nessun Dorma on final show (VIDEO)

Jackie Evancho took to the Britain’s Got Talent stage tonight, to give an astounding performance of Nessun Dorma.

The eleven year old singer shot to fame when she finished in second on last year’s season of America’s Got Talent. She was so amazing on that series that at one stage show bosses were forced to ask her to sing a quick vocal exercise on the live semi final, to prove to viewers that her previous performance had not been mimed.

The school girl has since been signed Simon Cowell’s SYCO record label and is about to release her first full length album Dream With Me.

We LOVED Jackie’s performance tonight and as much as Ronan Parke shone on the same stage less than an hour before, this youngster astounded us with her professionalism and her flawless talent. We can see why Simon Cowell has been so excited about her career in recent months.

Did you enjoy Jackie’s performance tonight? Leave your comments below.

Michael Grimm from Louisiana was the person who won America’s Got Talent. He was good and he and Jackie became friends during the show and wished each other well. Grimm has a CD either out just recently or about to be released.

Michael Grimm is a singer from the southern part of the United States. He’s in his early thirties. He sang “When a Man Loves a Woman” in the finals of AGT. You can find the performance on Youtube.

The grand prize on AGT was a million dollars and a Las Vegas show. There has been a lot of speculation in the U. S. that many people who would have voted for Jackie Evancho chose not to do so, because of the mental disconnect between and Las Vegas show and a ten year old girl. The “upset” has been referred to as “Grimm’s Fairy Tale” by some.

Michael was raised by his grandparents. Their home was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Michael used 100.000 dollars of his winnings to build them a new house.

In an interview, he was asked about Jackie. He said he was amazed that he won. He said she and her parents are wonderful people, that they had told him they would give him 100.000 of the prize if Jackie had won, so he could still build a new house for his grandparents.

This young child has an amazing gift vocally as well as a natural understanding of how each song should be song. It blows my mind how effortlessly she learns the different languages, music, songs, and adapts to the different arrangements of songs for each performance that she does. She grows musically, each time she performs. I love listening to her and I normally don’t lisen to that kind of music. Her voice is soothing to the soul. I went out and purchased her new album and enjoy each and every song she performs. It is hard to pick a favorite. There are 1 songs on the album I purchased and I really like number 3,4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14…Oh heck…I like them all…it is hard to choose a favorite. She has a great career ahead of her, if that is what she still wants to do when she gets older…remember, she still has her teenage years to go thru …..and all the hormone changes…she might decide to do something completely different… (I hope not)…but she might…my kids changed their minds sever time before they got thru the teenage years. I hope that Jackie continues her career in music. It will be fun to watch her grow musically. She is a beautiful child and will certainly grow into a beautiful young lady. She has a super family who guide and protect her. The best to Jackie and her family.
