Britain’s Got Talent 2011: Mexican Mayhem (Melissa, Twizzle, Tucker) fail to impress with lacklustre act….
I think we have just about had our fill of dog acts on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, so why bosses thought it would be entertaining to bring us Mexican Mayhem tonight, baffles us completely.
In comparison with Donelda Guy or even Pippa and Buddy, Melissa and her dogs Twizzle and Tucker were pure amateurs! It did not bode well that Mel started off her act by telling the cameras that most people think her breed of dog can’t be trained….it gave us a glimpse of what was to come!
The 59 year old took to the stage, promising great things from her long haired Chihuahuas, however when the routine started Twizzle had no intention of performing and just wandered aimlessly about while poor old Tucker carried the whole act.
Mel tried to excuse him by telling the panel that her pooch was ‘a bit tired.’ But for Michael McIntyre that was the charm of the act. He laughed:
“If both dogs did what they were supposed to do, it wouldn’t have been nearly as entertaining as the fact that right off the bat one dog just decided ‘I’m not going to do this.’ It was like they were a comedy double act, there was the straight dog and the comedy dog and I found it hilarious.’ You do not want to train the other dog.”
David Hasselhoff added: ‘I love it when the dog doesn’t want to do anything. it is so cool!’
The Hoff was the only judge to display any amount of sense and voted no…the other two gave Mexican Mayhem a pass through to the next stage.
Here’s hoping that the untalented trio don’t make the live shows!

I do not CARE what the judges said about them (in the semi final, it was entertaining so I will vote for them!)
