Britain’s Got Talent 2012 Final: Aquabatique split David Walliams and Simon Cowell! (VIDEO)
Aquabatique impressed the judges and the audience with their Olympic themed routine when they first tried out for Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year.
On tonight’s final, they tried to appeal to the viewers’ patriotism once more, by giving their new synchronised swimming routine a special British theme.
Ant and Dec traveled outside to watch the ladies perform in their massive tank, while the judges watched from large screens inside the studio. For the first time they were seeing it exactly as we were.
We always find ourselves captivated by Aquabatique’s performances and wondering how on earth they do it all, with so little opportunity to breath. Tonight was no difference and it truly was incredibly impressive.
JUDGES COMMENTS:
Alesha Dixon: You didn’t have much time to rehearse, you were one of the last acts to get through to the final. I thought you did an amazing job.
David Walliams: I loved that girls, I didn’t love it as much as the other night, it didn’t quite have the coherence as a piece. However it is one of the hardest things in the world to do and I don’t think that people recognise that, so congratulations girls.
Simon Cowell: David may be a great swimmer guys but he knows nothing about synchronised swimming. After your injury it’s amazing you’re even here tonight…I love people like you who are hard workers. I hope the audience get behind you, because it was an amazing, amazing routine!
Amanda Holden: I thought that was better than the last performance, you did yourselves proud tonight it was wonderful.
