Britain’s Got Talent 2012 gets major revamp – new set and streaming auditions!
For those who haven’t been along to the Britain’s Got Talent auditions yet this year, you’re gonna get a surprise when you see the new stage set!!
It is different and very refreshing. Similar to the X Factor stage with big animated screens showing a BGT logo and moving fireworks/colours.
There’s also a new element to the buzzers were when all 3 are pressed the entire stage flashes blue and white then goes dark with 4 spotlights moving across the stage, very dramatic!!
The buzzers have also increased in volume. I felt very sorry for some of the auditionees in Cardiff when they were used with full force!
Meanwhile the after votes closed on the 22nd of Jan, short list of acts who have auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent 2012 via YouTube will be revealed in a live stream from auditions on Monday.
Hosts Ant and Dec, together with judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams will announce the acts that have been picked out to face the public vote, live from the latest round of auditions at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. After that the videos of the winning acts will be uploaded onto YouTube for the public to vote for their favourite.
Those acts who receive the most votes will go on to face the judges, and potentially go all the way to the live finals.
Wow, BGT is certainly buzzing this year!! Is anyone else excited? Leave your comments below!

For God’s sake is this show about more gimmicks or is it about talent. Nobody with any real talent would touch these shows now, as they have gone to far towards pandering to the egos’ of judges and the gimmicks of the programmers.
Come on folks support your local talent in the regions get off your butts, switch the TV off and get out into the real world. Support the arts not the farts.
Maureen, get a life… There’s more than one supermarket – there is also alternative ways to demonstrate your talent, local acts are great but talent appears on BGT and other shows as well. Don’t be so negative.
i will be watching the voice, BGT has had it
britain actually doesnt have that much talent, it was all used up in the first few series, the last 2 have been dire
