Britain’s Got Talent 2012: Hopeful Abbey Jordan starts Twitter rant at Alesha Dixon for nasty mum comments

Abbey Jordan has hit out at Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, saying that she was mean to her mum at a recent audition.

The young hopeful performed for the former Strictly Come Dancing judge, Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Carmen Electra at London’s Hammersmith Apollo earlier this week, alongside her mother. However, while Dixon liked the young girl’s vocals and comforted her over her obvious stage fright, she wasn’t so kind about the older lady’s singing talents.

Later Abbey hit out at the star on Twitter and wrote:

‘I’m the girl out of ‘like mother like daughter’ at auditions today, before you slag of my mums singing? Listen to yourself!’

We think this might have been a little uncalled for, as Alesha is actually quite a decent singer! However, having earned herself quite a reputation for being feisty on the ITV Dixon wasn’t slow in hitting back and replied:

‘i was lovely 2 u yesterday! when you’ve grown up, sorted out ya attitude and sold some records come back and talk to me :) xxx’

Realising she’d probably said too much, Jordan did try to retract her previous statement somewhat and tweeted Alesha again, writing:

‘I know you was lovely to me! And I appreciate that because I was so nervous! but your comments have really upset my mum xx’.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that during her time on the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel, Alesha has gotten especially close to fellow new judge David Walliams. Insiders claimed that the pair teamed up against Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra at the London auditions, and mocked the pair as they spent all their time flirting and swooning over one another.

Do you think Dixon will make a good judge? Could she be taking the feisty, critical thing a bit too far? Leave your comments below.
