Britain’s Got Talent 2012: Profile of Zipparah Tafari (VIDEO)

Zipparah AKA Mr Zip is a ‘National Curriculum rapper’. He writes anti-bullying and road safety songs and performs to school children in schools to get the message across. He has been a plasterer for 20 years restoring Edwardian and Victorian properties.

What made you audition for Britain’s Got Talent this year?
I wanted the world to hear my tracks.

What’s the most exciting thing about your Britain’s Got Talent experience so far?
The positive reaction to my song, watching different people performing my song and dance on YouTube.

Are you nervous about performing in the live shows? Which Judge scares you the most?
No judge scares me, I’m fearless

What will you do with the £500,000 prize money if you win?
I’d love to go to Africa and Disneyland, also help some charities and fundraise too.

What made you audition for Britain’s Got Talent this year?
I wanted the world to hear my song and have fun with it.

What’s the most exciting thing about your Britain’s Got Talent experience so far?
Watching the reactions from my fans on YouTube and hearing positive comments.

Are you nervous about performing in the live shows? Which Judge scares you the most?
Fearless at the moment.

What will you do with the £500,000 prize money if you win?
I would donate to certain charities and visit different countries around the world especially Africa.

What does performing at the Royal Variety Performance mean to you?
I would feel honoured performing at the Royal Variety. I watch the Royal Variety every year and now I’ve the chance to impress with my performance

Why should you win Britain’s Got Talent?
My act is unique, everybody can relate and have fun with the song regardless race, colour, religion, gender, age etc.

How would you feel if you won? What do you want to do at the end of BGT?
I would feel proud and excited if I won BGT, it would make my mum and family, fans and friends proud. I would love to achieve a number at the end of this exciting journey.

Tell us something about yourself that people may be surprised to know
I used to dance with a Jazz dance group called FootPatrol, dancing in clubs across the UK. I dance also on Hitman and Her hosted by Pete Waterman and Opportunity Knocks hosted by Hughie Green. We used to dance with Jason Orange before he joined TakeThat.

If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be?
The President of the USA
