Britain’s Got Talent 2012 Results: Who’s through to the final? Ashleigh and Pudsey, The Mend or Only Boys Aloud!
Britain’s Got Talent aired it’s first live semi final tonight and it certainly was fast paced.
In the space of two short hours, producers managed to fit in nine acts, about 100 ad breaks and a live performance from X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos.
Judging from what the acts all showcased tonight, we thought the people most likely to win a place in the grand finale were Ashleigh and Pudsey, The Mend and Only Boys Aloud, but we honestly couldn’t choose between the three.
Ant and Dec revealed that we were right and our favourite acts had all received the most public votes and made the top three. The act that received the most votes was Ashleigh and Pudsey and so the judges were then asked to choose between the other two groups.
On hearing the news, an elated Ashleigh raved:
‘I promise me and Pudsey are going to come back and blow you away. Thank you!’
Making his decision David said:
‘It’s so hard, I think the act that’s got the most potential is Only Boys Aloud.’
‘I would like to see The Mend.’
Amanda Holden voted saying:
‘The act I will pout through is Only Boys Aloud.’
Simon Cowell concluded:
‘I like both acts and I want to find out what the public think because I can’t split these two. I vote for The Mend.’
The show then went to deadlock and Dec revealed that the acts with the most votes, going through to the final was Only Boys Aloud.
The Mend looked gutted and said:
‘I feel proud of all of us, we gave it everything we had, we feel like we’ve done our best.’
Tim the Welsh boys’ choirmaster raved:
‘They have worked really hard, thank you to the public, it’s an amazing opportunity and I couldn’t be prouder.’
