This year’s Britain’s Got Talent auditions seem to be a very happy affair.

There is no more sniping, bitching and jibing according to staff on the show, but instead show boss Simon Cowell is spending all his time ‘fawning’ over new judge David Walliams and joking with the Little Britain star.

Ant and Dec have reportedly become incredibly amused by the ‘bromance’ between the two men and Dec told The People that he loves just watching the two men interact.

He laughed:

“You should see Simon when he is around Mr Walliams, it’s like nothing you’ve seen before. Simon absolutely loves him.

“They spend all their time ­together and are often seen fawning over one another.”

Dec added that the two stars are like ‘two peas in a pod’, saying:

“They’re like two peas in a pod, the pair of them have this sort of strange bond. They laugh at one another’s jokes – which, by the way, aren’t funny. Everyone on the show takes the mickey out of them – they’re in their own little world.”

“We poke fun at them for their bromance.”

“There is clearly a whole lot of love there and I can’t wait for the viewers to see their chemistry.”

We can’t wait either, because the sounds of it , the chemistry between Simon and David is even better than the vibe between best pals Ant and Dec.

Donnelly also claimed that Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden are impressing audience members and added:

“It is without a doubt great for the show. David is hilarious and Simon is loving being back. Then you’ve got Amanda and Alesha is doing brilliantly, she is really feisty. She is a great girl. She’s not nasty to the auditionees but if she thinks a bit of feisty criticism will help the acts then she won’t hold back.”

However there may be a bit of a shake up to the panel when the show hits London for auditions next month. ITV confirmed today that because of Amanda’s recent health worries they are considering bringing in a guest star. Samantha Womack and Myleene Klass are said to be frontrunners for the role.
