Simon Cowell has revealed that he won’t be making any changes to the Britain’s Got Talent judging lineup next year.

We previously reported that Little Britain’s star David Walliams had already inked a new deal and landed a large pay rise, for committing to a second series of the hit ITV show and it seems that Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden’s seats are also safe.

Cowell told The Sun that he loves the ‘chemistry’ on the panel this year, explaining:

“The chemistry has worked really well — it’s been one of the most fun panels I’ve ever worked with.”

He added that former Strictly Come Dancing judge Dixon had been “a breath of fresh air”, new mum Amanda Holden was “great fun” and TV funnyman David Walliams was “the weirdest person I’ve ever worked with but we’ve become great friends. He’s a brilliant judge”.

Alesha seems set to return and admitted last night:

“I’d love to come back next year. If I’m asked back – I’d jump at the chance.”

However, while all the judges will seemingly be back, the annual show tour will not and insiders claim that ITV and Simon have cancelled the series of live shows, because of poor ticket sales last year.

It’s bad news for the contestants, who normally get to cash in on the lucrative opportunity once the series ends.

Britain’s Got Talent will air it’s grand finale later tonight, with ten acts on the lineup already confirmed. Joining the likes of Ashleigh and Pudsey, Jonathan and Charlotte and Sam Kelly will be one wildcard act who will be announced on the live show.

Tune in at 7.30pm, ITV1.

That’s great news. I really hope Michael McIntyre returns next year as a 4th/5th judge.
