Britain’s Got Talent 2012: The little girl with the big voice – Molly Rainford stuns Simon Cowell!

Molly Rainford took the stage by storm on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent show, which should probably have been retitled ‘Children Have Talent’, as it was truly the little acts that shone on the audition episode.

Following on from amazing young dance troupe Nu Sxool, talented girl group B Minor and 16 year old stand up comic Callum Oakley, eleven year old Molly took to the stage and won the hearts of the judges and audience before she even sang, when she chatted about going to church with her grandma on Sundays.

The little sweetheart could belt out a tune too and stunned the panel with her powerful rendition of ‘One Night Only’ and you could see Alesha, Simon and David’s jaws dropping as she demonstrated the fullness of her range.

After the performance, Dixon raved:

“You are so young, yet you sing with such maturity and control. You have just blown me away.”

Carmen Eletcra added:

“You have an amazing voice and an amazing presence.”

David Walliams joked:

“I just worry that you are too old,” he added:

“You’re kind of faultless, well done!”

Simon Cowell was a fan too and continued:

“I’ve got to tell you Molly, I like you, because you’ve got soul. I really do believe that.”

He also admitted that he found the performer totally ‘charming,’ while Dixon thought she was a ‘little Mariah Carey.’

Unsurprisingly, Molly got four yeses and won herself a place in the next round. Did you enjoy her performance tonight? Do you think Rainford has what it takes to make the live shows? Leave your comments below.
