Last week saw the Britain’s Got Talent judges reuniting as they filmed the first auditions of this year’s series…

And it seems that Amanda Holden wasted no time in offering father-to-be David Walliams a bit of advice about getting his pet dog to accept the new baby, and advising Simon Cowell to settle down with a lady friend before he’s too “ancient.”

As to what Amanda had to say to David, whose wife Lara Stone is expecting their first baby later this year, she told him that he must introduce the concept of the infant to their dog Bert…

She told The Sun, “I have given David advice when it comes to Bert. I’ve said when the baby is in the first romper suit, the next day take the romper suit home to Bert.

Fingers crossed Bert doesn’t misinterpret the gift and assume it’s whetting his appetite about what’s for dinner.

However, Amanda went to reveal what she’s been telling Simon, who of course has had more girlfriends than Hugh Heffner.

She said, “When he gets really ancient I’d love to think that he’s got someone at home to look after him.”

Yeah, they’re called nurses Amanda…

She added, “There are people in his life that he loves. He has all these girlfriends that we keep reading about…

“I don’t know which one he’s going out with – he won’t answer that.

“I think he’s happy and I don’t think he’s the kind of person that needs marriage.”

Here’s a look at Simon and Amanda together for an interview last year…
