Britain’s Got Talent 2013: Amanda Holden wants Joseph Hall as wildcard – Simon Cowell thinks Richard & Adam Johnson & Luminites will be most successful
Amanda Holden has revealed that she may be backing Joseph Hall for the wildcard in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent final.
The dance teacher impressed the judges last night with his amazing and imaginative dance routine, but lost out at the last stage to tiny performers Pre-Skool who won the judges’ vote.
As he left the stage he asked the judges to consider giving him the life line before next weekend’s grand finale, as they will be permitted to bring one previously eliminated performer back and on Britain’s Got More Talent yesterday, when Holden was asked which act she would currently vote for, she revealed:
Simon Cowell approved of her choice and admitted:
“He was good.”
Simon had previously admitted that he thought Jack Carroll was the person to beat, going into the final but yesterday he revealed that the young comedian could face stiff competition for the prize money from London based band The Luminites.
He told Stephen Mulhern:
“My opinion may have changed after tonight. I thought the Luminites were sensational. Very likeable, really current.”
“This is what we’ve always wanted. We wanted a competitive final and we are heading for that. I am looking forward to it.”
When asked which of the singing acts would be most successful, the music mogul continued:
“I think the two boys, the sandwich makers [Richard and Adam] are going to have the older vote. I think the Luminites will have the younger vote and they would have my vote right now.”
It’s all to play for! Britain’s Got Talent returns tonight, 7.30 on ITV1 with another nine acts vying for your vote.
