Ever since One Direction shot to fame on the X Factor, Simon Cowell has been keeping his eyes peeled for the next big boyband.
The music mogul has raked in millions of pounds from Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles ever since they appeared on the ITV show two years ago and at yesterday’s Britain’s Got Talent auditions audience members claimed he may have found their successors.
There has been quite a buzz around boyband London Road who tried out for the new series yesterday in London Palladium and if reports are to be believed Simon, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon were more than impressed.
One audience member tweeted the lads today praising their performance and wrote:
“@london_rd yous were amazing last night boys! Lets hope you get far which I’m sure you will. X”
“@London_Rd It was brilliant to see such great talent lastnight fresh out of Essex, did all us Essexers proud! well done guys, loved it! x”
A third tweeted:
“@London_Rd hey, I met you yesterday at bgt you were really good! Good luck for the next round woo:-) x”
“@London_Rd you deserve it witnessed the birth of an unreal band well done guys #BGT”
The band consists of Matthew Joel Navin, his brother Jackson Navin and their pal Lewis Huff. It seems that Lewis is still in shock after the positive response his band received from the judges and audience and he tweeted today saying:
“Still dont think its sunken in #bgt”
“This has been amazing! Thanks #BGT for this opportunity.. Lets see what happens from here”
