Britain’s Got Talent 2013 auditions review: David Walliams’ wife Lara Stone & dog Bert watched on as he fed Simon Cowell ice cream!
Day three of the London auditions might have been the very best yet.
The judges have started to ease into their parts and appeared more relaxed as they watched the hopefuls perform in London Palladium. It was a high energy day where the acts were concerned and the auditorium buzzed with joy.
David Walliams kicked of the shenanigans when feeding Simon Cowell ice cream, sitting daintily perched on his desk (as pictured). (Simon’s favourite flavour is strawberry, if you were wondering.)
The Little Britain star had already received the biggest cheers of the day when arriving and the audience kept chanting: “David, David, David!!” for most of the afternoon. Simon ordered an extra pillow to sit on, because he’s shorter than he looks you know, while a lot of focus was on Amanda Holden’s bum.
The talent was great and people will be surprised once they see it on TV. One act had the audience buzzing and exclaiming the winner might have already been found. A young girl named Hollie also auditioned and sailed through, with Simon saying she was the most talented singer since Leona Lewis. There were also a band, an acoustic group called London Road, a bitchy girl group and several comic acts, one of which Ant and Dec joined.
Before the second half of the show a shiver ran through the auditorium when David’s pregnant wife Lara Stone appeared cradling the couples sweet little dog Bert. An ecstatic David quickly came to cuddle his dog and put it on his desk. Lara sat down behind him in the audience, and it looked like she really enjoyed herself. David and Lara later received chocolates from fans.
