Britain’s Got Talent 2013: David Walliams shines at the Imagine Festival!

David Walliams was the big treat for children at the Imagine Festival at the Southbank Centre yesterday. The comic held a talk about his children’s books (especially Ratburger) led by Kate Garraway.
Hundreds of kids were clamoring to ask the comic and author questions at the end of his talk. A lot of the questions revolved around annoying brothers. What was slightly annoying was that several parents took their kids halfway through the talk and ran to the signing spot so they’d be first in the queue…
Despite this rude disturbance, David continued to be nice and pleasant and signed autographs for everyone – despite a queue that must have taken three hours to get through.
After this David took off to Wales to host the Sparkle Ball Welsh Customer Contact Awards. We heard that the delightful judge did very well, if Twitter is anything to go by: “You were hilarious”, “David Walliams was hilarious”, “absolutely loved you at the welsh contact centre awards tonight, you were amazing ❤ #weloveyou”, “What a really nice man/layyydy he is” and “you were fab :)” filled Twitter.
Which is great to hear.
