Britain’s Got Talent 2013: Jack Carroll goes down a storm at Go Local gig, but has to deal with internet trolls!
Fans of Britain’s Got Talent will know that 14 year old comedian Jack Carroll narrowly missed out on being crowned winner of this year’s show when Hungarian shadow theatre act Attraction pipped him to the post…
However, since his time on BGT ended, Jack’s career has flourished, and on Friday, he was the star attraction at a Go Local event in London, where his gags and quips had the audience, and host Tess Daly, in stitches.
But as ever, there are a few internet trolls who love nothing more than to cause upset with vile remarks, however, Jack doesn’t let them get him down.
One pathetic Twitter user recently wrote to Jack, “I’ve heard your jokes before from a christmas cracker because they are both s**t! #foureyedunfunnyp***k”
But unperturbed, Jack retorted, “You’re not even a very good troll.”
However, back to his performance at Go Local, and he was joined in the line-up of star acts by Sophie Ellis-Bextor and McFly, to name but two. Also attending were Lord Sebastian Coe London mayor Boris Johnson.
Of the gig, Jack tweeted, “Great day performing at #GoLocal with @OfficialGabzBGT @eddieizzard @jamaledwards @MayorofLondon.”
Meanwhile, Johnson tweeted, “Glorious afternoon at Olympic Park celebrating incredible volunteering legacy. Get involved.
“Great day on the Park. Yes there’s more to do but 1 year on the Olympic & Paralympic legacy looks in good health.”
The Daily Star adds, “Go Local descended on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to celebrate the one year anniversary of the London Games and help inspire people to make an impact on their local community.”
Here’s a reminder of the lovely Jack on BGT…
